So I forgot to make a news post signaling the end of our little break when i returned last Sunday, so I'm doing it now.

"So I'm sure you're all wondering just where the hell I disappeared off to after touching up my icon and banner in a rebranding of sorts, right AFTER a big celebratory post of a milestone reached.

And you can see this is pretty serious because I'm not opening with my usual "hey all".

So time to gather 'round, sit down at the table- *readjusts stack of papers* -and lay some cards on the table...

First of all an apology, being the patron of some artists myself who are prone to disappearing I know full well radio silence can be super frustrating and annoying. And I am doing this now because it's Sunday, and even though nothing is done STILL, this will be the only opportunity to upload for the foreseeable future. Because that would mean even more radio silence.

Thing is that I am moving to a new place, it's very sudden and it wasn't my choice. Initially I was hoping I could at least somewhat keep up an upload schedule and just say "I'm busy" to explain the lower output. But as this week has proven that is entirely un-doable.

Because this is on short notice I've been scrambling to get everything sorted and packed, only allowing myself the briefest of breaks.

So yeah, I'll spare you the details but suffice to say due to things entirely out of my control I can't stay in the place I currently am and moving into a new one. I'm sure you're all tired of ANOTHER excuse for why I'm late/taking a break, 2020 hasn't been going according to plan for me, at least porn-drawing wise. But to be fair to me, 2020 hasn't exactly gone to plan for anyone really...

And now onto the REAL bad news. Because this is such short notice, and everything is delayed at the moment due to a certain little pandemic, I will be without internet for AT LEAST two weeks, starting this Wednesday. And I am low balling it, it could be longer. Meaning I am physically incapable of uploading anything for about 2 to 3 weeks.

"But Socarter-" I hear you ask "-It's not Wednesday yet, can't you do something for the few days left over?" And the answer to that is "no" because I'm still not done getting everything sorted for the move.

At least it'll afford me the time to get things sorted in my new place without the internet to distract me. Maybe I'll even be able to finally get some drawing done again.

To make up for it somewhat, here's a WiP of something that was supposed to be done this week. And see you all again in a couple of weeks, hopefully when this is over and I have internet access again I can go back to uploading at the rate I was able to in 2019 for longer than 2 weeks. I'll be going back to packing and making phonecalls now."

Well sorta, I had been wanting to "rebrand" myself of sorts for months now because the first logo I'd been using was literally thrown together in 5 minutes and I've just been keeping with it for convenience.

But I decided it was finally time to sit down, and get this stuff sorted, first by picking a nicer font for the initials. And speaking off the font, and the brand new pairs of bikini-clad tittays that conform to their curves, that had been the plan from day one, even with the quick mocup that was my first logo.

So same style, same colours, same ideas, all put in a fresh new suit, neat.

Well, I think it looks neat at least.

Back to fonts, I wasn't sure of how copyright or trademark laws work when it comes to them but from what a quick google search and a perusal of the answers brought it seems you can use them generally for logos, unless specified otherwise? The free ones of course, you always need a license to resell but we're not talking fonts here that need paid for.

So since I'm just branding myself and this isn't a particularly... profitable venture (yet?) I think I'm in the clear.

And of course with a neat new logo comes some fresh backgrounds concerning my latest works, all relatively sfw of course, can't flaunt around naked tittays after all. As well as some older ones I thought fit in, particularly the beach episodes.

Well, only the beach episodes really. For now, I got some other ideas I want to tinker with.

I also of course, excluded any duplicate girls, only picking the latest and greatest versions.

And I'm getting back into the groove of things. Don't expect too much at once, but by the end of the month things should be back to business as usual.

That means my own projects on Wednesdays, and commissions/requests on Sundays. With two random quick requests squeezed in between when I find time for 'em.

Hey all,

With the holiday season getting closer I think now's a good time to announce a break.

I'll be slowing down uploads to one big piece per week, retroactively starting this week. As I'm sure you've noticed the regular upload is late, and there's no big request this time.

Basically it means that, at least for the time being until January, I'll be going back to my old schedule.

Hope y'all will stick with me through these troubling times of lessened lewd.

So so far so good, I'm doing it.

Alright that's enough MSPA references out of me.

Despite some worries, and the occasional delay it's been surprisingly easy to keep this up. Even on pieces that seem intimidating or ones I'm not really feeling. Once I get to drawing all those worries disappear.

I'm also slowly but surely steadily accruing more fans and followers. Just this week I reached the 200 mark on Newgrounds, I'm creeping ever closer to a 100 on Pixiv, and I've been past 50 over on twitter for a while now.

So discounting some overlap, I think I can safely say that's about 300 people who may or may not spank their meat (or shlick their slit) to my weekly drawings. And that's despite my disinterest and active dislike for social media. Honestly surprised I got this far this quickly with the limited amount of interaction I do online.

One thing to mention though is that I've been looking to scratch an itch on my creativity...bone? The Jak and Daxter pinup series is crawling towards an end and I'm really scratching the bottom of the barrel with that project now.

And I've been looking to try something... different.

More on that later.

Of flipping course the post I "complain" about a lack of feedback and unread news posts is the one I receive way more on than usual, how ironic is that?

So this is the mysterious thing I was teasing about earlier this week.

Well not this girl specifically but what I'm going to be doing from now on. Because from now on, every week, I'll scour the internet for a request thread, pic a random one that seems simple and doable, and churn this super simple thing out in like two or three hours. 

This is completely separate from the usual upload schedule, I might do it on a Sunday like this week, I might not, I'll do this quick and dirty when I get a hankerin' for some random lewd drawin' that's not as involved as... you know... the usual.

If it doesn't arrive before sunday... I'll do it on sunday itself. So that's a whopping three drawings every week, wowzers. Though one is a tad simple.

So since receiving no feedback on my earlier news post, y'all basically confirmed nobody reads these.

That's fine, that's fine, I'm not mad, just... dissapointed.

I can't keep this up, I don't really care.

What I do care about is letting everyone know what's going on and what to expect next. You may read, you may not, the important part is that it's out there.

And what's out there right now is that I've decided to go through with my plans on doing two uploads a week, and... something more... hold on tight for what that something could be.

But also don't expect too much because it's me we're talking about here.

Yo so this weekly upload thing is going swimmingly so far and I'm honestly at this point debating if I should crank it up a notch, when I started this I had already said with the amount of drawing I do I should be easily able to, so maybe, maybe...

Meanwhile I'm inching closer and closer to a 100 fans on newgrounds with every upload, and that number should start going up even faster with more, maybe I should start making something of my patreon as well...

For anyone bothering to read this, what (if any) extra goodies could push you to become a patron, any incentives? To be clear it likely won't be much, my drawings will continue to be freely available to anyone and everyone, no locking things behind a paywall. But I do also want to give something in return for people choosing to support me. Dilemmas dilemmas.

One drawing per week. That's the plan.

It's a rather steep increase from my old output, and I will likely not hold to this schedule, but I'm going to try. And considering how much I draw in a day that does not get uploaded because it's not relevant to anything I should be able to output at least twice that. in theory at least.

But for now I'm going to try and see if I can do just this. So should a week go by and on the next Sunday there isn't a new drawing, you have my permission to yell at me for being lazy, for those that pay attention to here anyway.

Oh also from now on there's gonna be my logo in the published drawings because that seems professional and stuff or something.
